| Membership Stats & Surveys In April 2009, an independent research firm hired by the Council conducted a survey of randomly selected members and students. A web-based online questionaire was distributed to 6,075 individuals. A total of 335 responses were received. After accounting for undeliverable questions, the survey had an adjusted response rate of 6%.
Information regarding earnings and production is characteristic of 2008, while other data are representative of member characteristics in 2009.
The goal of the membership survey is to provide statistically valid research from CRS Designees and Candidates that can affect the Council’s long-term course of development and short-term implementation priorities.
Overall, the typical CRS Designee is a 58-year-old woman who earns an annual income of $85,000 while working 40 hours a week for a franchise company.
